Google has announced some exciting things at its I/O developer conference. There is a whole load of exciting things coming to android and the google platform in general. Here are some of the things you may have missed.

Google Lens is a pretty clever piece of AI technology. You will be able to point your camera at something and Google Lens will use its skills to tell you what that something is. What this means for Google Maps and some of the other Google apps is yet to be seen.

The company will be launching a new project entitled google.ai and will share its tools, papers and more to help grow the AI community.

The company is adding some new feature to Google Assistant which is already loaded on 100 million android devices. It will allow you to type in queries to the app without saying it outloud. It is also now available on IPhone for all those Siri users who fancy a change.
